quote of the day!

"Lebron dominated in a way I haven't seen since Duck Hunt while having the gun right up to the screen."

Sam Mitchell is a horrible coach!!

If Jose Calderon hadn't developed a jump shot last year, the Raptors would have won 25 games.  I am getting so sick of watching Calderon/Ford dribble for 15 seconds to see if they can iso Chris Bosh, and if they can he gets the ball with 5 seconds of clock to work with which causes Bosh to use his jump shot.  If they don't get him open, Bosh sets the high screen to free up Calderon/Ford for the jump shot.  They do this about 50 times per game.  It's ridiculous!  Mitchell's play calling out of time outs are atrocious.  I'm one Raptors fan who hopes he doesn't come back next year, and if you read Colangelo's words carefully, I don't think he wants him back either.  Think about it, if Colangelo wanted Mitchell back, he would have signed him already.  I truly believe Colangelo is waiting for another team to offer Mitchell a lucrative contract so that he can let him walk and still give the, "hey, we tried to sign him" speech at the press conference.  Colangelo wants his guy from Phoenix, Mark Iovaroni to lead the Raptors.  Trust me...if we get Iovaroni, we'll be that much closer to running the Phoenix-style offence correctly and be much less frustrating to watch.

Xanga...it's been too long!

So, I've been trying to eat healthy for the last couple weeks since we've found out that my dad was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes.  Now that he can't eat junk food and the greasy crap that we're used to, I've decided to help encourage him in his diet and follow suit. Huge changes! Brown and multigrain bread is just the beginning....trust me. So I've been doing this for the last little while and have been getting accustomed to putting cucumbers and sprouts in just about everything and things were going well. That is until Edith decided to come down to London to test my patience....haha. 1 day...1 night...1 hour with Eeds and I surrender. Pad Thai, Life Savers Gummies, Milk Duds, Pop, all more junk food in one night than I have had in 2 weeks. Curse you Edith...Curse you!!

I really want to believe that we as an international community have learned something from the tragedies that occured in Rwanda 12 years ago.

I realize now that I'm not quite sure.

Are we ever going to learn?
